Find out why Kmart shoppers are rushing to grab this $15 dupe of a luxury $1,285 handbag!

When it comes to getting the most bang for your buck, Kmart generally delivers.

Recently, the retailer launched the Jana Trapeze Crossbody Bag as part of its spring style range, a sleek and affordable option that echoes one of the high fashion industry's top designer bags.

The French-inspired bag comes in either pink or black and is designed similarly to the Jacquemus Le Grand Bambino with a structured shape, magnetic flap closure, short handle, slim shoulder strap and fully lined interior.

The luxurious design of both bags may cause them to look like twins, but their prices couldn't be more different.

While the Jacquemus original costs an eye-watering $1,285, Kmart's affordable version costs just $15!

Kmart Insider, a social media account covering the budget retailer’s fashion pieces, spread the news of the bag on her social media account dedicated to Kmart fans and shoppers alike.

'The very chic $15 designer dupe from Kmart you will carry everywhere,' @kmartinsider raved.

'Seriously, $1,285 for a bag. How ridiculous,' one fan commented, while others said that the dupe is 'crazy good' and a better option than spending over $1,000 on a designer piece.

Another shopper added: 'I bought mine last night! Love it!'

'And Kmart doesn't make you walk around giving them free advertising with the logo/brand emblazoned on the bag!' A third said.
