And this latest trick going around on social media may just be one of the best DIYs yet!

Kmart shopper Michelle, who goes by @lookwhat_i_found on social media, recently showcased a genius trick that turned her old red vinyl ottoman into a modern and minimalist side table—and it all just costs $20.

'I gave an old ottoman a new life with the white adhesive panels from [Kmart],' she said.

'They stick on so easily, and I was so impressed at how good they look!'

'I painted and glued a round piece of timber on top, and now I have a high-end-looking coffee table on my deck!'

Michelle simply placed the adhesive sheets on the sides of the old ottoman and finished it off by gluing a round piece of white timber on top.

The 5-Pack Self-Adhesive Panels used in this DIY are available at Kmart's online store but are reportedly selling out incredibly quickly in-store.

The post was met with a lot of praise from others, who gushed about the results Michelle achieved from such a simple DIY and even shared some of their own ideas of how to use it.

In similar news, another Kmart shopper recently shared a DIY project using Kmart’s Chalk Finish Craft Paint transforming her refurbished chest drawers into something completely new and fresh.

She explained it only took three coats of vintage green chalk paint, about one and a half jars to achieve the final look.

‘No sanding, painted straight on, haven't waxed or varnished it,’ the kmart shopper added.
