Federal Budget.​

Wanted to make it clear, that it seems none of us saw any good news from the Budget. Members mentioned child care. I agree that taxpayers should not be paying for parents choice to have children. Our generation, figured it out, and we got back to work asap. Times have changed. Today, there’s maternity leave, family leave, sick kids parents leave too, all fully paid for by the employer. Not the government. Small business owners cop the bill for a lot of it. If your spouse is sick, take as long as you want, no medical certificate required. Further to that, you still get free childcare, funded by taxpayers, to have your children cared for, even if you choose not to work! That’s right. So we are all paying for lazy Mum’s, maybe Dads too. Unemployed or lazy, take your pick, free childcare. How do you motivate people to work, while they sit around and watch TV, or a girls lunch, when you can have it all. Kids minded, and life as you choose. All government, (taxpayer) funded. Where’s the logic? Gezabel.
