My kids loved this growing up and still ask for it today,claiming “theirs never tastes as good as mums”!
INGREDIENTS
kilo mince beef or lamb
pkt shell noodles. Large or small.
1 red and 1 green capsicum. Diced
2 large onions,diced
2 tins of champignons,drained or
1 cup of chopped mushrooms of choice.
1 large can and I small can of tomato soup
2 cups of grated cheese. I use cheddar. Use what you prefer.
crushed garlic
salt and pepper to taste.
METHOD
In a large pot brown your meat,onions, capsicums,garlic and seasonings.
cook noodles.
drain your meat and add noodles
stir in mushrooms,both cans of soup and turn out into a casserole dish
sprinkle the top with grated cheese,place in the oven at about 180C
for approximately 40 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
