Our favourite silver-screen vet has recently been unwinding in Löyly, a beautiful coastal region in Finland. He decided to update his fans with a series of sunny snaps where he was seen soaking up the sun and having a great time with his friends.

Chris captioned the post: 'Nothing like a relaxing reintroduction to Finnish life.'

The first image showed a blissfully relaxed Chris clutching onto a pair of swimming goggles post a dip in the refreshingly cool Finnish waters.

Subsequent photos included friendly games of padel tennis with his local mates.

An enjoyable video clip had Chris on the edge of the choppy waters, readying himself for a plunge. This was followed by a photo of him warming up by a cosy fire, relishing a nice beverage post-swim.

Naturally, his holiday diary was greeted with appreciative comments from his friends back home.

'Pickleball?' asked TV producer and ex-husband of Carrie Bickmore, Chris Walker, to which Chris obliged and said: ‘Yep that was padel. Pretty good fun. But doesn’t necessarily go with my game plan of just hitting it as hard as I can.’

'Looks good on you, Doc!' chimed in Neil Varcoe, news journalist Edwina Bartholomew's husband, and radio host Erin Molan concurred with a praise emoji.

Kia Herold, one of Chris' close friends who featured in the post, couldn't contain her excitement at his arrival in Finland.

'Always the best time of the year when our Aussie family comes to visit,' she wrote when she re-shared Chris' post on her own social media page.

Kia also shared her connection with Australia and said: ‘I moved to Sydney more than 20 years ago, and that is where I have felt most at home in my whole life, and I still have some of my best friends living there.’

‘I feel so lucky to have experienced a place like Australia at a young age, and it changed my life and my perception of life totally. My Aussie family is now naturally a part of our Finnish family which makes it that tiny bit better.’

Now what about the aforementioned fans, you ask? Of course, they shared their thoughts too.

‘Looks like you had a nice swim!’, one said.

Another added: ‘You are like wine, the older you are (the) better!’

And a third said: ‘Looking good Dr Brown, enjoy!’

Very nice pics. I do like Dr. Chris, but for me I'm not swooning over them, as I always like darker haired men.
