Fact of the Day: The rarest flag colour is... purple​

Purple is the rarest colour found on national flags! Only a few countries, like Dominica and Nicaragua, use it in their designs. This is because purple dye was historically expensive and difficult to produce. What's even more interesting is that the colour purple doesn't actually exist. This explains why.
