Fact of the Day: The human job you never knew existed
Do you know that your furry pals’ foods go through humans first? Some pet food companies hire human taste testers to check flavour, texture, and quality. Their feedback helps ensure the food meets high standards, just without the kibble crunch! According to HowStuffWorks, testers assess the smell first, then tasting and spitting, evaluating flavour, texture, and mouthfeel before reporting their findings.
Curious with how they test pet food out? Learn more here!

gawd l recall seeing a similar story back in 1979 when l was a young 19yo mum. It was in a magazine with a photo of men in Germany tasting dog food. l dry retched a few times just looking at the photo but l forced myself to read the article. It was interesting to know the cans didn't just contain all the junk not suitable for human consumption.

After reading the article I had to turn on the tv & watch anything to try getting the image out of my head
