Exploding Oven Door Warning​

G'day, members! We received an interesting email from one of our avid readers, Leah, who had quite an experience one weekend:

'(On) Saturday while cooking a birthday cake, (I) was getting the cake out of the oven and had the door open about 3 inches and boom, the glass exploded on my chef oven.'

'Glass went everywhere, luckily, I wore glasses and had long sleeves on, just got a bit of glass in my foot.'

It also seems that all Leah wants is to warn other members that this happens.

'I just wanted to let people know of the dangers. It was a chef electric, fan-forced wall oven.'

'I have been in contact with the company as this is an occupational health and safety issue. They contacted me back with some sort of excuse and sent an agent out to fix the problem but will have to wait for the new door to arrive.

'I think it would be wise to let people know as this can be very dangerous.'
