I bet everybody loves a moment of silence every now and then. Who doesn't? But there are just some moments when silence is not an option and you just have to deal with the noise, like when your husband or wife is snoring or when your grandkids are running around and playing.

And those times when you have to wash your favourite pair of shoes or sneakers, but when you put them in the dryer, and you get to learn what torture sounds like (a tad dramatic, but you get my point).

If you are someone constantly bothered by this sound, then today's your lucky day! This hack will make you wish you'd known this all your life!

Here's a list of things you need to prepare:

1. Your shoes
2. Your dyer
3. NOTHING MORE!!!

SURPRISINGLY, there's nothing else you need to prepare aside from your favourite pair of shoes and the dryer itself. That's how serious we are when we say it is really easy and life-changing.

All you have to do is to tie your shoelaces together in a double knot before you put them in the dryer. After tying them, open the dryer and put the shoes in. Don't close the door just yet! Leave a portion of the shoelaces just outside the dryer, then trap them using the door.

The shoes will be suspended in the dryer; they won’t spin along or bang against the dryer walls. As simple as that, you'd escape what I'd rather call the SOUND OF TORTURE. Not just that, of course, there’s also the risk of your shoes potentially damaging the dryer, which we can avoid by using this little life hack!
