EP - Electric Plane​

If this is the future of aviation, I think that I will keep my feet on the ground.

I am pretty sure that they didn't add all those engines because they thought they looked nice.

My experience with electrical devices is: "If you have to use multiple motors synchronisation is critical, if one gets out of sync it can really screw up your day."

Yep if it was real, you'd want very, very good protocols in place for passenger disembarking and baggage loading etc.

It's a photo from an add for a plane manufacturer that actually sells e-planes. Though I, like you, am not convinced this model really exists.

You're right about loading and unloading the plane (Noting luggage space may be limited). But it was the maintenance tasks that I saw as most worrying.

Way too many sources of vibration and undoubtedly massive stresses on the wing structures.
