Yesterday afternoon, 28 Oct 2022, my wife and I attended the Wagga Wagga City Aldi store. Whilst collecting some fresh vegetables we could hear a loud man's voice telling someone, "Do you know I waste at least 30 minutes a day picking groceries up from around the shop to put back where they belong? If people don't want what they pick I wish they would just put it back where they got it from." When I rounded the end of the aisle I could see a tall Aldi male employee telling this to an uninterested customer. Seconds later I hear the same rant again, this time to a fellow employee. A few minutes later I encountered the same, loud employee who then stood in my space and unleashed the same tirade onto me. He was looking for a response to which I simply said, "You are dealing with humans." To this I managed to escape. This is not a valued Customer Service attitude, even if he is correct. I will concentrate my future Aldi shopping at the Glenfield Store.
