An eight-year-old girl might be hinting at an outdoor family outing by surprising her mum with a $1,150 Kmart bill on Afterpay after 'playing' on the mum's phone.
The mum was shocked after finding out that her daughter managed to order outdoor paraphernalia which include a ten-man tent, a single-bed flocked air mattress, a pillow, blankets, pots, pans, cups, and cutlery.
Aside from lodging equipment, the girl also managed to order a box set of Harry Potter books, some Harry Potter-themed Lego and a microscope.

The mum, who in hindsight saw the humour in the situation, said that Kmart was able to cancel the orders.
She also shared that she received notifications from Afterpay, saying that she needs to pay four payments of $287.36 over two months.

Other mums commented on the bizarre scenario, with some saying that they would order the same things as the daughter did if they were in the same situation.
One mum wrote: 'I would die, but at least you know she has good taste.’
Others insisted that an eight-year-old could not navigate Kmart and Afterpay unassisted.
'I can't believe people think her eight-year-old isn't capable of this. My seven-year-old would be. It doesn't take a genius,' one mum argued.
Meanwhile, others agreed that payment information is usually permanently logged in so it's possible for her to order all of this stuff accidentally.
'All kids have to know to do this is their parents’ four-digit pin, and most of them probably do,' wrote another mum.
A number of commenters criticised the mother for letting her daughter use her phone.
'My phone is mine, my kids are only allowed to touch it in an emergency,' one mum said.
'Well I guess you learned a lesson and won't let your eight-year-old play with your phone,' said another.
Other mums stand by her, revealing that they had similar experiences because 'it is so easy for kids to use PayPal and Afterpay'.
One mum even shared that her son cashed out $300 from her PayPal whilst using his gaming console.
