Easy Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

I don’t know about you but I like my dishes sweet and savoury. That’s why this Teriyaki Chicken recipe is my go-to dish and my comfort food. Crispy chicken breast cut into cubes, stir-fried, and swimming in a beautiful homemade teriyaki sauce, yum! Not to mention it’s so easy to make, perfect for busy weeknights.
Why get Japanese take-out when you can make a delicious Teriyaki Chicken right at home! So without further ado, let’s get cooking!
Ingredients:
500g of chicken breast (sliced into chunks)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, ground ginger, and garlic powder by whisking them together.
3. Add chicken to the bowl and toss the chicken to coat it evenly with marinade.
4. Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with foil. Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
6. Remove chicken from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
7. Serve over rice or with a side salad and enjoy!
