Easy Pumpkin Scones

Scones are considered the crown jewels of the baking world. And for good reason: their fluffy texture and rich flavour leave absolutely no room for disappointment! In less than half an hour, you can have lovely homemade scones on the dining table that will bring a smile to everyone's face!
Even with all their charms, preparing traditional scones requires more effort than some of us are willing to invest. Fortunately, we came across this easy recipe that we couldn’t be more excited to share!
Here's the full recipe for those who can't wait to give it a go:
Ingredients:
3 cups of self-rising flour
420g condensed pumpkin soup
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
2. Place the flour in a medium-sized bowl. Make a well in the centre.
3. Pour the soup in and mix until the dough comes together. Add some water if the dough is too dry. If it is too sticky, add more flour.
4. Turn out onto a floured mat and knead lightly. Then, pat out to 2.5cm thickness and use a scone cutter to cut out rounds.
5. Place on a greased baking tray and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Serve warm!
These two-ingredient pumpkin scones give us a whole new edition of our traditional scones. They're light and fluffy but packed full of sweet and savoury flavour. Unbelievably easy to make and definitely hard to resist.
Now that you've got the recipe, why not give it a go? We're sure you won't be disappointed!
Here’s a video of a related recipe that’s a bit fancier but just as delicious as the easy one above:
