Easy No Peep Baked Chicken

This is called no peep because you cover and put in the oven until it's cooked

Ingredients​

  • 3/4 cup of each long grain and wild rice I will sometimes use the uncle Ben's packet of rice I stock up when half price
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted or condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1-1/2 cups 375mls water
  • 4 chicken leg quarters, skin on
  • 1 packet french onion soup mix

Directions​

In a 9 x 13 inch baking dish combine the rice, the cream soups, and water. Stir to combine with a whisk.

Step 2: Add chicken and french onion soup mix​

Arrange the chicken over the rice mixture in a single layer and then sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the top.

Step 3: Bake​

Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 180 C 160 fan-forced for 2 hours, or until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked Serve warm with your favorite side of Steaned Vegetables​
