Easy No Bake Chocolate Coconut Slice

I have a collection of no Bake and baked Slices
This one is one you will make over and over again.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut

  • 1 cup cornflake crumbs

  • 1 cup sultanas

  • 1/2 cup Coles Dried Cranberries

  • 1/3 cup Cadbury Bournville Cocoa , sifted

  • 400g can sweetened condensed milk

  • 90g butter, melted

  • 125g Cadbury Milk Chocolate Melts

  • 90g butter, extra, chopped

Method:
  • Step 1
    Combine the coconut, cornflake crumbs, fruit, cocoa, condensed milk and butter in a large bowl and mix well. Press into the base of a greased and paper lined 28cm x 18cm slice pan (ensure paper extends 5cm above the top of the pan). Refrigerate until firm.

  • Step 2
    Gently melt together the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Spread over the slice and chill until set. Store chilled in an airtight container until required. Cut into thin rectangles and serve at room temperature

Looks very yum! Every time I read your sweet recipes, I first look at the ingredients & think damn!!
Some I can alter with being lactose intolerant, but I can't with this one as it contains delish condensed milk.
There is a vegan condensed milk, but it's not the same imo.

I will post some recipes tonight that are dairy free. 4 of my grandchildren have severe dairy allergies and I'm always baking for them so they don't miss out
