Easy n Quick Microwave Potato Chips

With the cost of snack foods on the rise I'm adding a healthier and cheaper version of the Potato chips

MICROWAVE POTATO CHIPS
Who would have thought you could make crispy, delicious chips within minutes
in the microwave? They are fun and easy to make, and by using all natural
ingredients, they are also healthier than store-brought ones.
Ingredients:
1 medium-size potato (peeled or with skin left on)
1 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
ice water
Method: • Line a large microwave-safe plate with baking paper. • Slice the potatoes as thinly as you can, approx. 2–3 mm thick.
• Place the slices in a bowl of ice water to remove the starch and then dry both
sides on a tea towel or paper towel.
• Place the slices in a bowl and drizzle over the oil. Mix well to make sure the
potato slices are coated in the oil.
• Place in a single layer on the prepared plate and sprinkle with a little salt. • Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes, then turn the slices and microwave for
another 2–3 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
• Cool on a wire rack. They will get crispier once cooled.
Serves: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 4-6 minute
