Individual Berry Crisps Recipe​


Indulge in the deliciousness of individual berry crisps. A warm and cozy dessert made with frozen berries and a spiced crisp topping.

Ingredients​

Berries​

  • 12 ounces frozen mixed berries (or blueberries or raspberries)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

Crisp Topping​

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

Instructions​

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ and lay out a small baking sheet.
  • Add the frozen berries, brown sugar, and cornstarch into a mixing bowl. Toss together and then divide evenly between 4 8-ounce size ramekins.
  • Place flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a bowl. Mix together, and then pour the melted butter over the top. Mix with your hands or a spoon until the mixture becomes crumbly. Top each ramekin with the crisp topping. You may have leftovers which can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for crisps anytime you're in the mood!
  • Place the ramekins on the small baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the berries are bubbling and the topping is golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
