Suzanne, it says to mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl, make the meatballs and place on top of the sauce, then bake. The missing step would be to transfer the whole lot into an oven-proof dish for baking.

No its in the same dish. You add sauce ingredients to a prepared dish (baking dish) . I didnt say a bowl

Then make meatballs and put these on top of sauce . You don't need to transfer to another dish

The sauce ingredients were there in original post I didnt change any ingredients

I just numbered and made headings The Sauce ..The meatballs forgetting that some might not know what goes into a sauce and what goes into a meatball

I'm only human and make mistakes so I apologies for error

ty that is what I meant....I did not know what went in the sauce as all the ingredients were in the one place.

For heaven's sake, no need to apologize, there wasn't any error, it was quite clear, sauce ingredients were listed separately, it says mix together in oven proof dish, place meatballs on top.
As the meerkat says. "simples"
Just looked at the screen shot, and they were listed together in that, so maybe confusing for some.I would not however been putting 2cans of tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in my meatballs.

I put it up in a hurry not realising people wouldn't know what you put in sauce or what is in the meatball. Normally I do try to put it in easy steps.
