Easy 10-Minute Peanut Noodles

It's days like these when we could all do with a quick and delicious meal that's also easy on the strained budget. And these 10-minute peanut noodles certainly fit the bill! It's packed with creamy and chewy goodness, and as a bonus, you can make adjustments based on taste preference — so if you're not a fan of spicy food, just omit the chilli crisp, and you're good to go.

Please note that if you can’t find some ingredients at your local supermarket, they might be available at your nearest Asian grocery!



Ingredients:

150-200g Japanese Ramen Noodles

2 tbsp smooth peanut butter

1 tbsp soy sauce

½ tbsp rice vinegar

3 cloves garlic

½ tsp sugar

1 tsp chilli flakes

½ tsp sesame oil

2 tbsp hot water

1 green onion, chopped

1 tbsp roasted peanuts

1 tsp chilli crisp

Begin by cooking your favourite noodles according to the packaging. After cooking, drain the noodles but make sure to reserve some of the hot noodle water.

Add the remaining ingredients (except for the green onion, roasted peanuts, and chilli flakes) into a bowl. To incorporate the ingredients, mix in the reserved hot noodle water.



Finally, toss in the cooked noodles and the remaining garnishes.

Believe it or not, that’s it! Peanut noodles are good to go all in ten minutes.
