Don't take any notice of anyone asking for information on Your phone or computer etc

I was recently scammed out of Our savings plus afterpay-Bpay-Woolworths gift cards etc after a message came up on My computer screen saying it was locked up, and I needed to ring an 03 phone number - they didn't answer - but then rang Me. My Wife spoke to these people for over half an hour. I started to get suspicious at that time and Rang My son who was an IT person and computer savvy. He saw that they had all My passwords etc plus everything else on My computer all laid out. They had told My Wife that someone was taking money from Our Bank account but in reality, it was them. We hung up and turned our computer off, when My Son told Us what they were doing. Luckily , these fraudulent payments were stopped, and We finally received Our Savings back from the Commonwealth bank after a month. But Now We are very suspicious of anything that pops up or rings on Our phones etc... We are now using very different passwords that cannot be remembered and are now written down in a book. We were told that these scammers are located in Fitzroy but unknown at the moment.
