I too can't see the allure of this combo. I won't be trying this as I never go to Maccas.

As far as strange combinations go Hubby used to like peanut butter and banana sandwiches. The kids loved the holidays and going camping as that meant corn flakes and custard for breakfast! :)

The peanut butter and banana sandwich reminds me of my mum eating those when I was a kid. When I finally tried it, I was surprised how good it tasted. And certainly more nutritious than a hash brown ice cream sandwich, ugh.

No. Definitely not. About 2% of the hash browns is potato. The rest:

Carrageenan is a known health risk.

Peanut butter (or any nut butter for that matter) with banana is no longer an unusual combination, more like standard fare now:)

Me too,I have never darkened Maccas door and have no intention of starting now
Peanut butter spread with smashed Banana YUM, Kraft used to make peanut butter spread with Cinnamon That just added a whole new level to the taste, loved that. Recently heard a segment on the local radio asking people to comment on Taste combinations that they thought were weird, one guy said he had been using Vegemite and Raspberry jam on toast for years, I thought yeah, will give that a try, I absolutely loved it, the sweetness of the jam is offset with the salty taste of the Vegemite, it is now my fave breakfast.

I don’t think so, I love hash brown but not a fan of anything ice creams (have to be in the mood which is not very often) so it’s a no for me 👎

Years ago when McDonalds first opened in Oz, I tried a couple of things out then decided to nickname them Chew & Spew. This reminds me of those days.
Today, the only thing I consider buying from there is coffee and the occasional breakfast muffin. Full stop. Mind you, if I've been on the road for a while and in need of a pit stop, they might rate my visit.

I'm not a fan of Maccas but strangely the thought of this combination is interesting me to the point of wanting to try it. Being a Diabetic I would have to be careful but what the hell, a little of what you fancy does you good so my Grandfather used to tell me.

Carageenan is a thickener made from seaweed.. I'd rather have that than gelatine which is made from bones and hooves.

I have been using packets of salted potato chips as spoons with icecream now for at over 50yrs, it's a salty sweet taste and I can remember how I came upon the idea, I had bought some chips from the corner shop and was talking with friends while sitting on the window ledge of the shop, it was a pretty warm day out Bass Hill way and I went and bought an icecream, the taste was fantastic with the salty potato chip taste in my mouth and I have been doing it ever since.
