Discover the $25 chocolate treat that's perfect for the holidays!

Holidays just simply wouldn't be complete without some kind of treat.

And if you’re also looking for a fun holiday activity that the whole family will enjoy, you’re in for a really sweet one!

Shoppers are loving KitKat’s latest product, and one video of the product recently racked up a million views on social media.

The KitKat Christmas Cabin Kit has three variants, with the smallest coming with six milk chocolate KitKats, six white chocolate KitKats, a KitKat Santa, a 50-gram bag of Smarties, a packet of Allen’s Raspberries, and a bag of Nestle Bakers Choice White Chocolate Melts.

Retailing at just $25, you can find this delightful kit in stores like Coles, IGA, Kmart and BIG W.

The kit was spotted by @snackreviews_aus, who decided to try it, highlighting its fun yet challenging construction process.

'Overall, I found this kit really fun to construct, but be careful as the chocolate can melt pretty easily if you touch it too much,' she said.

The user showcased how she used the KitKat bars and belted buttons to construct a whimsical chocolate cabin before moving on to the decorating part.

Additionally, a larger version of the kit is available at Costco.

Online response to the KitKat Christmas Cabin Kit has been overwhelmingly positive, although, understandably, some people voiced concerns about the cost.

'We might need to buy this in Australia for the kids for the night before Christmas,' one said.

'This is my son’s favourite chocolate, so for his Christmas birthday, he will be getting this filled with cake. Thanks for the idea,' another added.

While a third said: 'Way better than a gingerbread house that ends up in the garbage! Going to try to find one in.'

'I would be eating it as I was making it,' a fifth said.

'Absolutely fuming this isn't a UK thing,' another commented.

'Can easily make it cheaper buying them individually and doing this exact same way,' one suggested.

Nestle also offers a $40 version of the Christmas Cabin Kit with more chocolates and a special limited edition with jellybeans for $65.

In other news, KitKat recently announced its switch to greener packaging. They replaced the previous packaging with 30 per cent recycled plastic.

The announcement came just days before World Environment Day, with the move reducing the company's use of virgin plastic by approximately 250,000 square metres—enough virgin plastic to cover around two hundred 50-meter swimming pools every year!

The move made KitKat Australia the first food wrapped in a more sustainable soft plastic and the brand with the highest amount of recycled soft plastic used in a confectionary wrapper compared to other major food brands.
