That’s right - Subaru has collaborated with Japanese company Re-S to create this amazing product from unused airbags, preventing waste and offering a creative accessory at the same time. We guarantee your family and friends will be impressed!

Subaru has the tote advertised via its Japanese website for 2750 yen (A$31). Customers can select from pink/red or blue dyed ribbon options and the bags also feature a reflective material on the handle for that extra bit of visibility in dark settings.

The bags measure 550mm long, 340mm wide and 120mm deep, and according to the Japanese carmakers site, can easily fit a large 'hot spring towel'. So make sure you keep one in the car for those last-minute shopping trips!

It’s not clear how long Subaru Japan plans to sell the tote online, however, they have had an overwhelmingly positive response from their customers who are eager to get their hands on this innovative product.
