Sodium percarbonate- it's the active ingredient in napisan etc but without all the toxic nasties added. Simply activate a quarter of a cup in hot water and soak. It's brilliant for clothes too, I just let the water cool a bit for clothes but towels, cleaning cloths etc go straight in. Works brilliantly

I’ve never tried that on mine. I have that very soft nylony mesh stuff on mine and I worry that harsh chemicals will just melt it completely so I just use soap and water but it’s beginning to stain. Any tips would be a huge help.

The sodium percarbonate I mentioned would work, bc it's the non toxic active ingredient in all the stain soakers but they have added chemicals that make them not only harsh but toxic.

Because I am in a rental I have the cheapest dishwasher on the market that keeps breaking down. It is not working at the moment & this is the 3rd one we have had in 15 years.
