Dingo and Foal
From our boat on the Adelaide River (Darwin) we watched as two wild horses and a foal grazed on the riverbank.
An opportunistic Dingo was eying the foal, likely as a meal for its pack which was equally likely hiding nearby waiting for the call to assist.
As hard as the Dingo tried to separate the foal from the adults, they nevertheless ensured the foal was safely between them at all times.
