Deadly Earnest and Creature Feature​

Remember these shows from the 1960s and 70s? They were used as a introduction to an all night horror and sci-fi movie fests on Channels 10 and 7 (?) respectively. They aired such cult classics as The Creature From The Black Lagoon, The Fly, The Blob and The Little Shop Of Horrors (all three black and white originals), The Monolith Monsters, Crack In The World and Invasion of The Body Snatchers (again the original). Even included old Japanese horror such as Mothra, Godzilla, Gamera and the totally out there Attack of the Mushroom People (AKA Matango).

I used to plead with my parents to stay up for them on Friday and Saturday nights with great success (whew!). They molded my love of science fiction movies in the years to come. I am currently rewatching these movies with great pleasure and memories.
