According to the liquor giant’s website, The Decoded Wine Awards was created for wine lovers, not for experts.

“We’ve kept it simple by unpacking what makes these wines stand out,” they said.

And the best part? They’ve made sure these wines are available for everyone, regardless of budget!

Dan Murphy’s annual wine awards are now in their third year, and in 2022, the winners were decided by an expert panel of twelve judges who blind tasted over 1,200 wines from Australia and New Zealand, under strict and unbiased judging conditions.

After a record-breaking number of entries this year, the panel whittled the list down to ten winners, with another ten wines being named the best value buys.

So, without further ado, here are the winners!

I don't drink but I can see that this list would help to de-mystify the huge amount of wines on offer. Personal taste preferences however go a long way to deciding what makes a good drop although there are a lot of drink snobs out there.

This is a wonderful list of wines. I have actually already had some of them and can attest to the fact that all the ones I've tried have been yuuummmy.
I already knew about this annual judging but have never been able to find out how to get hold of a list of the winning wines. Can anyone help me?
