Damper
When I was a Brownie aged 7, we had a camp out. I learned many things, but I remember most sitting around a camp fire twisting damper dough onto a stick and cooking it over the coals. When it was done, we pulled out the stick and put Golden Syrup in the hole. It was the best thing! I still love Golden Syrup on damper but I add butter first. So indulgent for a simple dessert.
