Damaged suitcase​

I had a perfectly new Samsonite suitcase pull up handle broken on its first plane trip. Back home I went to the dealer for repair and was told once the suitcase leaves your hands, whether it be on a bus, in a taxi, on a train or plane, it's not covered.
Hence I bought a $10 suitcase from Crazy Clark's twenty years ago (admittedly on sale with a difficult expanding zip which works!) and it is still pretty well perfect . I would never again spend big money on any case.

Oh my goodness! This is such a great tip. Suitcases are so unreasonably expensive and am glad to know there are WAY cheaper options out there. Thank you so much, @noos!
