Crepe Paper​

Remember when parties were adorned with colourful crepe paper creations? Aussies would drape them across the lounge and kitchen ceilings and even decorate the Christmas tree with them. Do you have fond memories of making these? Share your memories here.

Yes, I remember making crêpe paper chains in primary school. Linking them all together and then draping them across the Christmas tree or hanging them from the ceilings. Lots of fun.

I used to make beautiful roses out of it, petal by petal.

Our Family made them to decorate for Christmas. Trouble was the heat made them droop so by the time Christmas came they were all drooping.

Yes, I have fond memories of making these at school in the NSW bush. The children helped decorate the class room and the old hall in preparation for the end of year Christmas school concert. Not to forget the yummy food and Santa's visit on the night! I look fwd to making these with my Step Grandson and in the future, my brand new little Grand daughter!
