Here are the ingredients you need:

1. Pasta, any will do
2. Two to three pieces of chicken breast
3. Fresh garlic and Italian seasoning – for the chicken
4. A cup of Heavy cream
5. Any jar of pesto sauce
6. Salt and pepper
7. Fresh basil, optional
8. Parmesan, optional
9. Butter or Olive Oil

First, heat some butter or olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Then, cook the chopped chicken breasts in a pan along with garlic. Season it with Italian seasoning as well as some salt and pepper. Then, set the cooked chicken aside on a plate. Use the same skillet to make the creamy pesto sauce, so you can take advantage of the savoury chicken fat.

Meanwhile, cook your preferred pasta according to the package directions. Drain the pasta well, making sure to reserve about a cup of the pasta water for later, and set it aside. Using the same pan that you used to cook the chicken, combine the pesto sauce, heavy cream, reserved pasta water, and parmesan. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes before adding the chicken and the paste. Serve with fresh chopped basil and more parmesan cheese, if desired. Enjoy!

Thanks - I have pasta, chicken, pesto, cream & parmigana. Do you think I should add mushrooms? I'll cook this tomorrow.
