Ingredients

  • 125g butter
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 3/4 cups crushed wheatmeal or other similar biscuits
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 60g butter, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups icing sugar mixture
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 200g dark Chocolate
  • 60g copha

Method

  • Step 1
Grease an 18 x 28cm slice pan and line with baking paper.
  • Step 2
Combine the butter, sugar and cocoa in a saucepan and stir over low heat until butter is melted and mixture is well combined. Stir in the egg and vanilla, then cook, stirring, for a further 1 min. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3
In a bowl, combine the biscuit crumbs, coconut and walnuts, then stir in melted butter mixture. Press firmly over the base of prepared slice pan. Chill until firm.
  • Step 4
Meanwhile, to make the filling, using an electric mixer, cream butter until pale. In a separate bowl, sift the icing sugar and custard powder together. Add to creamed butter, alternating with the hot water. Spread over base. Chill until firm.
  • Step 5
Next, to make the topping, stir chocolate and Copha in a small saucepan over low heat until melted. Spread over custard layer. Chill until firm. Cut into squares to serve. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Hi Suzanne rose.
Just getting away from your recipe, it looks as though I was wrong in saying that Krygy was out of the tennis.
One minute he's got a crook wrist, the next he's suffering from stomach muscle complaints & is not going to play.
Now that he has been cured of his complaints, he's playing tonight.
So, as you mentioned, your son was hoping to see him play. Just hope he's down in Melbourne to see him.
Oh, how one can be so wrong with his thoughts about Krygy. But, there again, he's Krygy. Nothing surprises about him.
Hope he plays well with your son watching on.

My son is going down Thursday afternoon. His going down with 8 friends and they all purchased a pass that gets them into all games unlimited for Friday to Sunday. They paid $800 each so not bad.
Hopefully he gets to see Kyrios

Boy at those sorts of prices, I hope that he gets to meet Kyrgios and gets a signed racquet thrown in..... if he is playing that is. 😂

Well, he certainly played. It was very obvious that he was experiencing a bit of pain with his abdominal muscles as I suggested to Suzanne rose.
He started off AO'K, but that was it.
The spectators tried real hard to lift him. All to no avail.
