Woolworths, Metro, and Big W have just announced that they'll be launching a collectable tableware range that customers can redeem using their Everyday Rewards credits.

For every $20 spent at the participating supermarkets (both in-store and online), when shoppers scan their Everyday Rewards card, they will receive Rewards Credits.

Once the minimum credit amount is achieved, customers can redeem points for any of the six available Villeroy & Boch tableware products for free at any of the three participating stores. You read that right, members – it's FREE!

If you want to get started on your collection quickly but don't have enough Rewards Credits to get it for free, the three retailers are also offering a part-pay alternative. The collection can be redeemed with a combination of Rewards Credits and cash, giving customers more ways to redeem.

Customers also have the option of purchasing the tableware without taking part in the sale by paying the full retail price.

The beautiful Villeroy & Boch collection includes crystalline glassware, stainless steel cutlery and 100 per cent porcelain clay plates — all of which are dishwasher safe (with the plates also being microwave safe).

These look better than the glassware coles is currently offering.

I collected my current dinner set a few years ago from Coles a white Jamie Oliver set which I love.

I've also collected great cookware this way as well as specially knife sets and salad bowls. All great quality.

Just remember you do need to get a flybuys or everyday rewards card. Which is free and all you need to do is remember to swipe each shop or add to your online account.

The glasses would be nice added with a bottle of wine and wrapped in cellophane with a nice bow.

Use the plates to fill with chocolates or even slices again wrap in cellophane with a bow.
These can be quite tastefully done.

An inexpensive gift for those on a really tight budget and after all it's the thought that counts

Good way to get the pieces you need & a 3 month promotion period is great too.

As stated, these could be handy for Christmas.

For us seniors this could be a good time to throw out any chipped pieces we may have or keep as spares for those times when we may accidentally drop a piece.
