Coles Issues Urgent Warning: Recall On Three 'Nature's Kitchen' Frozen Pizza Varieties

Coles has been forced to recall three types of their very popular ‘Nature’s Kitchen Pizza’ due to an undeclared allergen. The urgent recall was issued on Friday and includes the 250g Coles Nature’s Meat-free Meat Lovers Pizza, the 250g Coles Nature’s Kitchen Hawaiian-style Pizza, and the 250g Coles Nature’s Kitchen Veggie Pizza.

According to the statement issued by Coles, the products have had to be recalled due to the presence of the undeclared allergen. The pizzas are advertised as ‘deliciously vegan’ but actually contain milk. Meaning anyone with a milk allergy could be in danger of a severe reaction.
A statement by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said, ‘Any consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume the product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.’
The products from Coles have been available for purchase since February 2021 and Coles has confirmed that anyone who has purchased the products online or in person can return the products to any Coles for a full refund.
Please be careful members! If you do have one of these pizzas sitting in your freezer be sure to return them for a full refund, especially if you’re unable to consume milk.
