This year’s Christmas is all about low stress. As such, Coles has prepared their holiday menu this year for home cooks who want simple solutions.

With their line-up of over 150 new products, the supermarket’s focus this year is on ready-made dishes and food that requires little preparation - but still makes a bold statement on the Christmas table.

An example would be Coles’ award-winning crackling ham rib rack roast. You can forget about scoring and making your own glaze because all you need to do is season it and slide it in the oven. It comes with a pre-cut mix of vegetables for easy roasting.

Coles’ Christmas 2021 range includes other highlights such as chef-inspired canapes, which combine mac & cheese bites with barbecue pulled beef and cheeseburger spring rolls.

There are also international and locally sourced specialty cheeses. These include an organic Australian washed rind cheese, a Spanish truffle cheese, a Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, cranberries, and even a British classic six-month-old red Leicester.

For a seafood option, there’s a hot smoked salmon with maple glaze. The fish has been cooked by smoke over beechwood and is ready to eat.

And if you’re craving some Christmas turkey, there is the Hunter Valley fresh turkey breast, tied and formed into an easy-to-carve cushion shape for easy serving. The inside is stuffed with rich truffled mushroom risotto.

Of course, the range wouldn’t be complete without desserts, so Coles is ready for the sweet tooths too.

There’s a lavish selection of ready-made trifles, puddings, ice cream, chocolates and sweets. There are two new Belgian chocolate mousse desserts; both covered in a mouth-watering mirror glaze. Just the perfect piece to complete your Instagram-ready Christmas buffet.
