Cockatoo Island Village - Buccaneer Archipelago WA
This was my place of work on a number of occasions over the years. I spent time up here three times for three different companies. Always a great place to get back to. Best fishing I've ever experienced and an endless supply of fresh oysters off the rocks, scenery second to none, and just a great atmosphere and place to work. It is a part of Australia that very few Australians ever get to see. Plenty of great beaches - but you can't swim in the ocean - if the sharks don't get you, the crocodiles will. But there are two swimming pools on the island which are great for a cooling down on a hot day.
