That got me thinking, if they were nice prison officers, they probably run him in Star for a few seconds, before switching to Delta ... you know give him a soft-start.

No he has to get the full current to get the burnt effect, so it has to go Direct online (DOL) in Delta to get the higher Starting Current to help get him dead a lot Quicker.
