The Biggest tomatoes that I have ever seen where on Costas (SBS?) gardening program. In the backyard of a house, in rows, they were bushes full and every one of them, the size of large grapefruit.

Costa was fascinated had a bite as requested and asked the secret of "how do they grow" them to such a size? was shown that under the mulch AROUND EVERY TOMATO BUSH, where masses of cigarette butts that had been collected and inserted.

I personally don't smoke so I've never tried it but it sure did look interesting. And while I'm on the topic, the best lawn I have ever seen in my life was at a lady's house I worked on once, who said that fills her spray pack with stale beer... so probably the hops does it.

There's never any stale beer wine or spirits around to try that out though.
