CHRISTMAS​

I was the eldest of six and probably around 9 years old.
We had all arrived home after Midnight Mass .
The six children sent off to bed.
After awhile, when mother thought my younger sister would be asleep,
she snuck out to our bedroom to see if I had seen the key to a wardrobe.
I had not seen it. Eventually Dad had to break in to the wardrobe so
that Santa could leave his gifts.
