Chocolate, is it me, or does chocolate melt quicker now

Easter is here, and I purchased my favourite, 3 Easter bunnies, you know the ones, with the red ribbon and bell.
I ate one as soon as I got home and it melted to soon, before I finished it, the chocolate was just about liquid in my fingers.
Summer weather okay I understand. BUT, the other two was in the fridge, i took one out the next day, after dinner, around 8pm.
Cool evening, should be okay, but no, 1/3rd eaten and the chocolate was very pliable in the fingers, it was very soft to break.
Now is it my age, my thoughts of chocolate in the past is not as I recall, or have they changed the recipe and chocolate now melts way to quickly??
