Are you tired of the same old boring lunch options? Say no more! Introducing the mouth-watering and flavour-packed chicken souvlaki wrap. This Mediterranean-inspired dish is the perfect balance of protein and veggies; all wrapped up in a warm and toasty pita. With its tender and juicy chicken strips and fresh salad, each bite is like a party in your mouth. This recipe is a shortcut to a traditional Greek dish, with the ingredients available at Coles, so it will be a breeze to whip up these wraps in no time. So, whether you're looking for a satisfying lunch or a quick and easy dinner, these chicken souvlaki wraps are the perfect solution. Let's get cooking!

Ingredients:

4 Coles Gyros Wraps

500g packet Coles Made Easy Chicken Strips in Souvlaki Seasoning

350g packet Coles Kaleslaw Salad Kit

2 Hass avocados, stoned, peeled, thinly sliced

100g Coles Australian Style Feta, crumbled

Instructions:

1. Place a large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Cook each wrap for 1 minute on each side until golden and heated through. Transfer the wraps to a plate and cover with foil to keep them warm.

2. In the same pan, cook the chicken in two batches for 4 minutes or until it's cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a heatproof bowl.

3. Prepare the salad in a large bowl according to the packet instructions. Divide the wraps among the serving plates and top them with the salad, chicken, avocado, and feta.

4. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Optional extras:

For an extra kick of flavour, why not add some diced red onion or jalapeno to the salad? You could also add a tablespoon of Greek yoghurt to the salad to give it a creamy texture. For a vegan version of this dish, replace the chicken with marinated tofu strips. Enjoy!

My family loves gyros wraps but I would substitute the kale salad with normal lettuce and thinly sliced tomatoes.

The chicken strips in souvlaki seasoning are expensive, I would suggest using normal breast fillet and slice it yourself either thinly or chunks, I usually do chunks as that's the traditional way.

The seasoning is only 2 tablespoons on paprika ,one tablespoon of dried oregano and 1 teaspoon on garlic powder That is the seasoning . I also add fresh lemon juice to the chicken then add seasoning , either in a bowl or zip bag.

You don't need to marinate but if you can it's even better
