Chicken Provolone

Recipe by taste of home with a couple of changes

Ingredients​

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 fresh basil leaves
  • 4 thin slices prosciutto or deli ham
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack or Gouda cheese ( you can also use cheddar cheese)

Directions​

Preheat oven 180°C all oven types
  1. Sprinkle chicken with pepper. In a large skillet coated with cooking spray, cook chicken over medium heat, 4-5 minutes on each side
  2. Transfer to an ungreased baking tray; top with the basil, prosciuto / ham and cheese. place in oven and cook until cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
