Chicken Provolone

Recipe by taste of home with a couple of changes

Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 fresh basil leaves
- 4 thin slices prosciutto or deli ham
- 4 slices Monterey Jack or Gouda cheese ( you can also use cheddar cheese)
Directions
Preheat oven 180°C all oven types- Sprinkle chicken with pepper. In a large skillet coated with cooking spray, cook chicken over medium heat, 4-5 minutes on each side
- Transfer to an ungreased baking tray; top with the basil, prosciuto / ham and cheese. place in oven and cook until cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
