Remember Cessnock Tyre Service? Back in the day, this was the go-to spot in town — whether you needed a new set of wheels or just a couple of budget-friendly retreads. Many locals will remember stopping here for tyre fittings, a chat, and a look under the bonnet.

Retreads were a big part of motoring life — cheaper, practical, and perfect for old family cars. One member even recalls buying a set for their Austin A40!
