Caught speeding
A policeman has been waiting on the side of the road all day, watching for speeding traffic. Nothing. It's a miserable day - freezing cold, wet, driving rain. He's looking forward to the end of his shift. Finally, just before he knocks off, a young man comes speeding down the road. Aha!! At last. He pulls him over. "I've been waiting for you all day", he says grumpily. "Sorry officer," the young man replies, "but I got here as quick as I could!"
