After playing a clip of the Queen’s welcome speech at the recent United Nations Climate Change Conference, the presenters made fun of the alleged feud between royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the rest of the royal family.

"I could not be more proud of them," Her Majesty said in the clip. And then, Tom asked the panel who are the people the Queen was referring to.

Australian broadcaster Fifi Box was the first to push her buzzer and jokingly replied, “Meghan Markle’s trolls?”

Tom added, “She’s unleashed them!” as the rest of the panel and audience began laughing at their seats.

Sydney actor Aaron Chen followed up the gag with, "Maybe some of her corgis learned to backflip?"

"Not her dogs, but it is within the royal circle," Tom replied, still trying to get the answer out of the guests.

Fellow comedian Ed Kavalee knew the answer and said, "This was spicy because she thanked Prince Charles and then Prince William for their efforts in conservation but didn't thank Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!"

Royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are known environmental advocates and have led various global eco-programs.

In May, the Duke of Sussex emphasised that climate change is one of "the most pressing issues we are facing".

In the Apple TV+ special The Me You Can't See: A Path Forward, he also said that becoming a father firmed his resolve in tackling environmental issues and the climate crisis.

"With kids growing up in today’s world, pretty depressing, right, depending on where you live, your home country is either on fire; it’s either underwater, houses or forests are being flattened.”

The Prince recently spoke about his advocacies again in September when he hosted Global Citizens Live in New York City.

Even though the Queen didn't mention Prince Harry and Meghan, she did praise her late husband, Prince Philip, who passed away earlier this year, and then spoke about Charles and William.

"It is a source of great pride to me that the leading role my husband played in encouraging people to protect our fragile planet lives on through the work of our eldest son Charles and his eldest son William," she said. "I could not be more proud of them."

Prince Philip was widely known as an environmentalist. He championed living the natural way of life long before it was at the forefront of people's minds as it is now.
