Carrie Bickmore makes X-rated discovery at work desk while getting ready for her final appearance on The Project

After years of dedication to the popular Aussie TV show, The Project, it’s finally time for Carrie Bickmore to say goodbye.

The host announced her departure from the series earlier this year, and ahead of her big send-off, Carrie took to Instagram while packing up her stuff – where she made a naughty discovery that left her fans in stitches.

The 41-year-old TV presenter was busy cleaning out her desk with the help of a colleague when she unearthed memorabilia she kept throughout her illustrious career.

‘Just cleaning out my Project desk. I’m not crying, you are!’ She joked with her fans.

‘It’s so weird, all my life packed up in a box,’ said Carrie as she fixed her stuff, occasionally showing some items to her followers. Some eagle-eyed fans even found it hilarious when Carrie revealed an Esky with bottles of wine.

‘Found some old stuff in the drawers’, she said.

Carrie shared a photo of her eldest son, Ollie, as a young child. But amid the photos of her family and colleagues, a sheet of pregnancy multivitamins, and several stacked boxes, was a phallic drawing she made back in 2014.

The host stumbled upon the X-rated drawing behind an old script, and described it as ‘THAT famous picture’, referring to the time when she stunned viewers on live TV by holding up a piece of paper with the crude drawing on the back. She has always maintained that she didn’t know it was there.

While her co-host at the time, Matt White, didn’t seem to notice the blunder, Carrie managed to keep a straight face and continued as if nothing had happened. Viewers at home saw everything though.

‘Congrats to whoever drew the d*** and balls on The Project, cracking shot!’ Said one Twitter user. Carrie later acknowledged the gaffe and said she was ‘so embarrassed’ about what happened.

Fans lost it after she revealed the drawing again.

‘Carrie, that p**** drawing was hilarious…We have never laughed so much. Thanks for the wonderful memory,’ shared one fan.

Another said: ‘My friend and I were in the front row of the audience the night of the “famous drawing”. So glad you still have it.’

Others sent their congratulations and best regards.

‘Many don’t know what is a real good thing until it’s gone! Best of luck in the new chapter of your life!’ One of her followers commented.

Another said she was ‘definitely going to be missed’.
