Social media is buzzing with excitement over the latest Cadbury and Peters Ice Cream collaboration, with users raving about the new range of chocolate-inspired ice creams hitting supermarket shelves.

One user exclaimed, 'OMG, the ooze!' while another warned followers to 'run, not walk' to get their hands on the delicious new flavours before they sell out.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive response, some users expressed concern about the price tag attached to the premium 460mL tubs.

Despite these concerns, the new range of Cadbury chocolate-inspired ice creams is available now in supermarkets and petrol stations nationwide, priced between $12 and $12.50.

So why not treat yourself to the ultimate indulgence and experience the heavenly flavours for yourself?

This ice cream has been out for ages, I purchased this a few weeks back when it was 1/2 price and to me wasn't anything to write home about.

At $12 definitely not worth it and how could they even try to sell it at this price and its more expensive than you think as the container is small holding just 460 mls

I'm a pensioner and I love my treats, including icecreams. BUT $12 for a 460ml. tub of ice cream is not my idea of a good buy. I don't care how good it tastes. Even if I had the money I wouldn't buy it. It's a rip-off. The mark-up on this product would be astronomical. Cadbury can keep their ice cream.

I'm lactose intolerant. Peter's make lactose free ice cream in 1.2 litres for $9. It's never, ever on special, which is why I don't buy it regularly. When I do, everybody likes it.

And The one you buy is still double the content and still cheaper . Usually lactose free is more expensive, so shows how expensive the Cadbury one is

Can you tell me who stocks this Peters, as I am lactose intolerant and would love some icecream when I could afford it. Thank you.
Coles and Woolworths stock it. There was a shortage of it a while ago, but it's back in stock. It's very yummy.

$12 is too expensive. Just maybe wait for the $Half Price sales and then try it. One could also make their own version as well when Sara Lee or Connoisseur Ice Creams are on half price sale for $6.00 and then just add some Nutella also on sale.

Thank you. I also use Liddells lactose free yoghurt and put natural fruit with it.
I like Liddells sometimes too, but be careful if you buy the large size instead of the 4 pack. The large 700 gr size has instructions to use within 3 days. I won't buy the large size, as I find that ridiculous.
However, Jalna is different, and can be used until the use by date.

Yeah $12 is too much there are other small tubs of high quality ice cream for $8 and $9 they are very nice though I only buy them on special wouldn't pay the full price

I'm thinking these companies have lost the plot. On what planet do they think it's acceptable to charge $12 for this? Have they not seen the news or read a newspaper? People need $12 to feed the family for a day or longer, not to cater for a whim or a desire for something without any nutritional or dietary value. So much for companies with a social conscience. :(

The flavours sound like something l would enjoy, but when l compare $12 for 460 mls against less for a 2L tub of my favourite icecream l cannot justify buying a tub.
