Bunnings releases $29 PARTY KITS for the kids (and the kids at heart)

A few years ago, a young boy from Perth celebrated his fourth birthday party in the most Aussie way possible – by having a Bunnings-themed birthday party.

Carter Stingers has always loved visiting the hardware store with his dad. So when his mum Kylie asked him what theme he wanted for his fourth birthday party, there was only one answer he could think of.

Kylie said her son loved Bunnings so much that he even said that he wants to work there when he gets older.

Carter’s party featured a “garden centre” with pot plants for guests to take home and a “paint centre” where kids could paint plaster statues. And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Bunnings party without its famous sausage sizzle.

The Bunnings-themed birthday party went viral online in 2018, inspiring hundreds of parents and children all over the country.

And now, it seems like the hardware store itself has taken the initiative to make it much easier for parents to give their kids a Bunnings-themed party.

Introducing – the Bunnings Kids Party Pack!

Now, customers can create their very own Bunnings-themed party at home for only $29, which can cater to up to 10 guests.

The whole set includes over a hundred pieces of party items to create the perfect Bunnings party – such as invitations, cupcake wrappers and buntings. It even comes with a gift box that can be easily repurposed into a cake stand.

Bunnings dropped the packs in-store nationwide this week (excluding Western Australia) and they are also available online.

Even though the new Bunnings item is designed for children, it seems like the adults are the ones most excited about the release.

“OMG I need this for my hubby's birthday,” said one mum, while another joked: “Stuff the kids! I want one for my birthday!”

They are also saying how convenient and cost-saving it is, instead of buying separate branded items for the party.

“It’s not too bad price-wise, there are 9-10 different items there with at least 7 that are a pack of 10 to cater for 10 kids. 72+ branded items for $29 is pretty good,” one keen shopper wrote.
