Bunnings recalls popular gardening tool due to safety concerns

Bunnings Warehouse has issued a recall for a popular gardening tool after it was found that it poses a risk of electric shock to users.
Several customers have reported that a malfunction occurred while they were using the product, causing injuries.
The Ozito Portable Electric Blower is designed to help users make light work of tidying up their yards, driveways, and patios by clearing away leaves and loose garden debris.
It is lightweight, very powerful, easy to direct and control and retails for $59 nationwide.

However, several users have reported that the gardening tool is also prone to malfunction which may cause injuries.
It was found that the impeller can break during use and rupture the casing, giving access to live parts and releasing sharp objects at high speed.
This defect poses a risk of electric shock and has already caused a number of injuries to consumers.
To check if your Ozito Blower Model is part of the recall, here are the steps to follow:
- Stop using the blower immediately and unplug it from the socket.
- Check the data on your product's label if it indicates Model OZBL1800WA.
- Check the batch number on the bottom of your unit (near the air intake vent) if it matches one of the following codes:
